I will command joy...

by watching the sunset over the ocean 
in listening to my favorite folk rock music and dancing on my couch
by hanging out with my friends that make me laugh for a fun Sunday dinner
in the smile of my friend's 2 year old niece when she plays hide and go seek
by feeling the fear yet still walking up to the stage confidently 
in the sweat trickling down my face because I worked out harder than ever
by planning a rock climbing trip, finally
in the breath and stillness of this moment
by talking to that hot guy in line behind me at the grocery store

We all can command joy in our lives. If we take a minute, a beat, a pause, and recognize all that we have to to experience in this world and all that we have to offer others, we will be amazed.
